Whatever you do, don't clean your baton ends with the Ajax that has those little blue things in it. Your ends will be stained blue forever!
Regular, non-blue Ajax works awesome for cleaning batons!!!

Another great tool that is easy to carry with you to competitions and performances are clorox wipes. Also a hint, carry a little bottle of baby powder to pat the ends with after cleaning to give an extra brightness. (Just don't get the powder on the shaft or you won't be able to hang on to it)

[glow=purple,2,300]hey, this may just be for the uk twirlers out there, but only use jif/cif for cleaning the ends of you baton/s when they are REALLY dirty as if you use it too much the ends go yellow and flaky. instead, i use wet wipes. Charlie[/glow]

I recommend using oxi-clean... it really brightens up your ends!!!

I have tried different things. Oxi-clean did not work for me though. What works for me is nail polish remover & shoe cleaner.
